My Experience with Carbonite Service
It is definitely a tough task to find a reliable yet trusted cloud storage service and you need put a lot of efforts to come up with best one.
So after good research, Carbonite is the one which I can trust on. That is the reason that I am recommending Carbonite to other users too. I can assure you that you won’t face any issues either technical or general while using Carbonite.
Since it does not require any equipped system for making this service work on your system. So keep reading below in order to explore more about my experience with Carbonite service!
What I Like About Carbonite
The first thing about Carbonite which I like is its plans. Normally, there are only one plans which most of the cloud services offer, but Carbonite gives you three plans to choose from which is really good. Since you get options to make choice from and make a rational judgment.
Another thing which is not available in most of the cloud storage services is an easy backup process. Though this is possible in Carbonite which let you take easy backup of your data.
You don’t need to browse the folder or file from Carbonite app to take backup. You only need to head towards any folder or file and right-click on file or folder and add them to backup plan option. It is that easy!
Files and folders can easily be located or identified which are already backed-up. Moreover, restoring is also like a pice of cake with Carbonite.
In order to restore, just go through your Carbonite account and locate the file or folder to restore and restore. If the files are not available on your system then it gives you 30 days-versioning feature. It really makes it easy to restore.
Moreover, if you making changes to the files which are backed up on Carbonite then those changes will automatically be made to the backed-up files or folders.
What I don’t Like About Carbonite
The common and frustrating problem of Carbonite is that it does not backup all type of files and folders which I selected as it does not support few extensions by default. Normal file type like pictures and documents won’t create issues.
Though you can fix this problem by right clicking on file which is not getting backed-up then always back up those types of files.
Not backing up all formats is due to avoiding different issues which may come across when you go for restore.
Another frustrating feature is not letting users specify bandwidth for each file or folder to use. Although there is an option to restrict network usage set of advanced options like I like to see.
My Final Thoughts on Carbonite
Finally, I can conclude this review and assure that Carbonite is one of the best and viable choice to go for. It is relatively inexpensive and let you enjoy amazing features in lowest possible rates.
